Hawke's Bay is located on the east coast of the North Island in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Hawke’s Bay is made up of four distinct geographic localities; the urban cities of Napier and Hastings, as well as Wairoa in the north, and Central Hawke’s Bay in the south.
The region is well-known for its mild and pleasant climate, stunning beaches, and extensive farmland, orchards, and vineyards. Napier, which was constructed in a unique Art Deco style, is adjacent to Hastings, the agricultural service centre of the region.

Rental car and airport pick up
To make your transition as smooth as possible, we're delighted to offer the option of airport pickup and a rental car when you get to Napier. Be sure to check your arrangements with your Manager/Head of Department; they will help you to settle in.
Driving in New Zealand
You're allowed to use your current driver's license in New Zealand for up to 12 months during your visit. After that, you'll need to change it to a New Zealand license. You can find out more about driving in New Zealand here.

- MyWay is an on demand public transport service getting you to more places around Hastings quickly and easily.
- Hastings Taxis Limited and Half Price cabs are also available as well as rental vehicles.
